DALLAS - Legend of the Seeker is back for another season. I spoke with the main characters, Craig Horner who plays Richard Cypher, and Bridget Regan, who plays Kahlan Amnell. Here's what we talked about in our interview:

Roni: "First of all, tell us from last season until now what's happened, catch us up!"

Bridget: " Season 2 picks up right where we left off and the crazy thing is when we finished season 1, we felt like it was over we felt like we had won because there was a prophecy that Richard, the part that Craig plays, was going to kill this evil guy Darken Rahl, who's been ruling the midlands, this world we live in as a crazy leader. And we defeated him, we killed him, well he killed him, I just kind of helped. He combined all these forms of magic and when he did that this kind of explosion happened and when he did that we learned that there was this tear that separates the world of the living and the world of the dead. So now there's these creatures that we've never seen and people that we've killed that are coming back to get us and it's a bit of chaos. So now we're out to defeat the Keeper, who is Mr. Baddy number one and we have some help Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, and Cara the Mord-sith that was in the season finale of season 1, which will be airing in the 2 hour event, and we're back to right some wrong."

Roni: "Tell us what we'll see during the season premiere, and all of the different characters we're going to meet, and the people that are returning from season 1."

Craig: "We saw Cara for the first time in the finale of season 1 and she is back in season 2. She proves to be a valuable asset to me, so I can use her in certain ways."

Bridget: "And I'm not convinced, I think she's trouble, but we also has a wonderful actress Charisma Carpenter who plays a high ranking Mord-sith in the first episode of season 2 as well. You might know her from Buffy. We have some really great guests this year, we have Jolene Blalock coming up, she was in Star Trek, and a lot of great actors. Amy T Garden from Friday Night Lights, Gabriel Men from Mad Men, and just a lot. They've really stepped up their game, we've had some really great guests to come out and play with us, and of course a lot of local talent from New Zealand and Australia."

Roni: "Besides the fantasy, what are the story lines we're going to see on a personal level?"

Craig: "Richard kind of gets separated from Zen and Kahlan for quite a while. It's good, distance makes the heart grow fonder and he realizes what he's fighting for really. Do you agree?"

Bridget: "I would, we find that Richard has more powers than he knew he had, which is a big one. And Kahlan is pushed to trust Richard in a way that she's never done before because she really doesn't trust this Cara, because she's a Mord-sith and they're bad, bad girls. And the last time she found her man all bruised and beaten and she doesn't want that to happen again. It's a great season, so far so good, we just finished episode 10 and I can't believe how much stuff has happened already, it's exhausting to think about it, it's always life and death on our show, it's like it's the end of the world, and there's such high stakes and such high drama, it's not for the faint of heart, that's for sure."

Roni: "When we spoke last time, it was just as you were getting to know these characters, now that you're here in season 2, do you feel like you're hitting your stride?

Craig: "Oh ya, and even the writers are starting to write for us they're really watching our personalities come through on screen and they're doing that. Our characters are growing a lot, the more that we have to lead and encounter all these problems we just keep growing and moving forward."

Bridget: 'It's one of the joys of playing a character. I've never played a character this long and I went and I did another part in between these seasons and it was like totally jarring because I've been playing Kahlan for 9 months and playing something else is like turning rusty wheels that haven't been turned. I adore playing Kahlan she's one of the coolest, most unique characters I've ever come across but it's a joy of play someone that you feel like you know so well, it's like second skin."

Roni: "We are so looking forward to Season 2 and the season premiere which is this Saturday night. We'll tune in and can't wait to see the many more episodes to come!"
